Stop Using AI Trading Bots (Until You Watch This)

Here’s how three kinds of autopilot investing tools actually work: robo-advisors, copy-trading apps, and AI bots. I’ll show you what’s automated, where the delays are, and what can go wrong based on how they’re designed and what users report.

In this video:
– How robo-advisors like Schwab Intelligent Portfolios and Wealthfront work: rule-based rebalancing, not AI. Schwab charges no advisory fee; most others charge roughly 0.20 to 0.50 percent a year.
– Copy-trading: according to FINRA alerts and user reports, copied trades can fill seconds to minutes after the original trade, often at a different price, and you carry the trader’s risk.
– AI chatbots like Claude and ChatGPT give investment suggestions but don’t execute trades, and they can be confidently wrong.
– How each type makes money, and what can go wrong: when something breaks, you usually absorb the loss.
– Alternatives: a target-date index fund (Vanguard Target Retirement, about 0.08% a year), a do-it-yourself monthly auto-invest, a fiduciary human advisor (often about 1% a year), or paying off high-interest debt first.
– Read the fine print and do your own research. This is not financial advice.
