A $SOXL day trade mistake: my stop loss was smaller than the ATR.

I bought SOXL at 102.15 on a wedge break with a $1 stop. SOXL’s ATR is $1.70 per 5-minute candle, so it moves $1.70 back and forth inside one candle. I got shaken out at 101.20.
