Sierra Chart Day Trade: “Not Time to Take Trades.” Four Minutes Later

A real day trade on a live prop account in Sierra Chart. I said price action was dirty and it was not time to take trades. Four minutes later I took one. Then the stop moved further away, and I got stopped out on the wider stop.

In this Short:
– “It’s not time to take trades at all at the moment.”
– Four minutes later: “Let’s take it.” The fill lands in the journal by itself.
– The stop moves further away, and the journal records the move.
– Stopped out.

TradeRecall records live from Sierra Chart, NinjaTrader, Quantower, MetaTrader 5, MetaTrader 4 and cTrader: every fill, every stop and target you move, and what you say while the trade is on. Free, no card. Plus a bonus: the full version for your first 30 days.

Did I type any of this into the journal?
No. The fill, the stop move and the exit are recorded on their own while the trade is on. The notes are spoken.

Is this a Sim account?
No, it’s a real day on a live prop account. MES futures. The account number is blurred.
